The screw cap already delivers a TCA-free wine closure. What remains is to create the perfect wine closure that controls the amount of oxygen entering the bottle. Many people ask “What’s the right amount of oxygen?” The simple answer is: It varies from wine to wine. Generally, some heavier wines can benefit from more oxygen. However, differences in winemaking style and preferences could easily mean that two wines from the same varietal would need different amounts of oxygen to achieve maximum quality.
